Brunswick Dealer Advantage Adds More Programs, Expands Existing Programs to Canada

LAKE FOREST, Ill., Oct. 1, 2008 – As economic purse strings continue to tighten, Brunswick Dealer Advantage is expanding its efforts to help Brunswick dealers continue to be competitive and to prosper. The most recent addition— preferred pricing on top brand power and hand tools through Hagemeyer North America, Inc. — enjoyed immediate popularity with Brunswick marine and billiards dealers in the United States. Since its debut last month, several hundred dealers have accessed the Web page for details, and more than 120 applications have been submitted. The program is available to participating Brunswick dealerships, their technicians and other employees.

“We were surprised by the volume of applications we received the day of the announcement,” said Hagemeyer North America’s National Accounts Manager Jim Lansdale. “We offer Brunswick dealers and their employees, access to quality products at competitive pricing; reducing expenses without sacrificing quality is obviously important to this audience.”

“This popular tools program, along with expansion of our business insurance offering through Arthur J. Gallagher & Co., is now being made available to Brunswick’s Life Fitness dealers in the United States as well as our marine, billiards and Life Fitness dealers in Canada. These efforts complement a full array of services and benefits already in use by Brunswick dealers,” said Program Manager Nancy Jorgensen. “Combine that with aggressive promotions by all of our partners and there are constant incentives to encourage Brunswick dealers to participate, benefit and save through Brunswick Dealer Advantage.”

Brunswick Dealer Advantage features three levels of participation – silver, gold and platinum – each based on the amount of the dealer's business with Brunswick. The deeper the partnership with Brunswick, the higher the dealer’s level of eligibility, with more benefits and services available to them. Programs target three specific areas: enhancing the retail customer buying experience; attracting and retaining employees; and reducing costs through operational excellence.

“One of the greatest things about Brunswick Dealer Advantage is that you get to pick and choose which programs work best for your business,” said Jeff Miller, president of Miller’s Boating Center in Ocala, Fla. “Several of the programs are with companies we already use, but now we get to save money by using them!” Miller said his company has saved more than $12,000 through Brunswick Dealer Advantage programs.
