Mercury Marine Introduces Flyway 25 EFI FourStroke Outboard

FOND DU LAC, Wis. (June 12, 2008) – Some circumstances require more than just FourStroke silence...they demand total stealth.

Mercury Marine proudly introduces the new Mercury Flyway 25 EFI FourStroke outboard engine. With the standard-from-factory camouflage pattern and matching low-gloss paint, there's no need to hide your engine by covering it with spray paint, stickers or a bag.

Featuring the Advantage MAX-4 HD® camouflage pattern, the engine that's touted as the quietest in its class is now nearly invisible.

The Advantage MAX-4 HD® was designed by Jordan Outdoor Enterprises, Ltd. to meet the need of open terrain camouflage – without geographical limitations. The pattern incorporates cattails, millet, milo, corn stalks, sunflowers, oak and maple leaves, cedar and oak limbs, plus a variety of other plant life.

Not only do these engines utilize one of the most recognized camouflage patterns on the market, but Mercury's feature-packed design, smart amenities and clean, quiet, fuel-efficient FourStroke performance makes the Flyway 25 EFI the obvious choice of power for smart hunters.

The Flyway 25, available at participating dealers, features Mercury's industry-leading battery-free electronic fuel injection system and is available in both electric and manual start models. Automatic decompression and a manual recoil are standard, even on electric start models for added convenience and peace-of-mind.

With available power trim or gas assist and standard dual water pickups in the gearcase, getting into shallow water to blend into the landscape has never been easier.

The Flyway 25 EFI's exclusive multi-functional tiller handle allows the user to control shift, throttle, throttle friction, steering, trim and stopping with one hand. In addition, the tiller handle tilts up for additional comfort and folds down for compact storage or easy transport.

The engine is available in both tiller and remote control versions, boasts a 3-star C.A.R.B. rating and is backed by the industry's only three-year non-declining limited corrosion failure warranty.
